The Video Production Process
Planning Your Video
No one knows your business or organisation better than you so it’s important that we work closely together here to ensure the right message gets delivered in the final video production.
Some important things to consider in the planning stage are who the audience for the video will be, the message or content you want to deliver, the budget you have available and how the video will be hosted or delivered to the viewer.
Some video projects will require almost no script at all, others may require every shot and every word to be worked out well before the camera roles. You may have a script already written, or you may want to talk through some possibilities first and then have the script written for you.
Video Kraft takes a very flexible approach here, working with you in the planning stage as little or as much as required for your video project.
The Video Shoot
Video Kraft uses professional quality equipment that is also very portable, enabling minimal disruption to your business or organisation and the crew size to be keep to a minimum.
The script and shooting schedule will all have been worked out in collaboration with you during the planning stages and will be used to guide us through acquiring the raw footage. As we work through the schedule you will be able to make any necessary changes to ensure your video stays on message.
If required a professional voice over can also be arranged. The appropriate voice talent for your video can be selected by you from numerous online voice samples and the voice over recorded in a professional sound studio.
Post Production
This is where your video will come together. Editing, sound mixing, colour grading and the addition of any graphics will all be completed keeping the script, your brand and the message you want to deliver in mind.
Any logos, photos or graphics that you would like used can be creatively incorporated into the video to enhance the production.
Production music, if required will be sourced and checked with you first before the music licensing is purchased and the music added to the sound mix.
You will also be able to specify the formats, resolution and compression rates that you would like the video delivered in. Don't worry though... all you need to know is how you want your video to be hosted or delivered to the viewer and we'll take care of the rest.
Review and Delivery
When the online video is ready for viewing it will be uploaded to a secure website. You will then be able to review the video at your leisure and request any changes.
Once the changes have been made and everyone is happy, the final production will be delivered to you in the video formats you require as a hard copy (on disk) including one optimised for internet upload to sites like YouTube as well as a full high quality HD version. Possible formats include DVD, AVI, H.264, Flash Video, Quicktime Video etc.

The raw video footage can also be provided to you for future use on an appropriate sized storage device (either a hard drive or high capacity memory card).
